MAJOR PROJECTS

Major projects are transregional and transsectorial activities focussing on priority issues for AIIC and the profession as a whole.

Currently, four such projects are underway:

- The definition of the profession and the recognition of the title of conference interpreter

- Further education and training

- New technologies in interpretation

- Access of young people to the profession and to AIIC
