The 5th edition of the post-graduate Certificate for Interpreter Trainers will be offered from September 06 to September 07 by the Interpreting Department of the Ecole de traduction et d'interprétation (ETI), University of Geneva.
For the second time this course is offered in a blended format, 80% at distance /20% face-to-face in Geneva. This Certificate course will be transformed into a Master of Advanced Studies in interpreter training in the course of the academic year 06/07. Therefore, applicants for the Certificate course, completing all course requirements, will obtain the degree of MAS in interpreter training. The course language is English.
The course has traditionally brought together participants from all over the world. Applicants from EU member and accession countries may be entitled to a full or partial scholarship from the European Parliament. Please contact Mr. for further details about this offer.

Application deadline is July 15, 2006. Successful applicants will be notified by July 20th, 2006. The course fills up fast, early applications are encouraged. The 6th edition of the course will begin September 2008. Individual, stand-alone modules for interpreter trainers, lasting four weeks each, are offered in intervening years when the Certificate course is not offered.
